About this work

On the left, an altar on which various animals are being sacrificed. Noah and his family kneel around the altar. In the sky, the symbol for God, the tetragram, and the rainbow as a sign of God's covenant. In the background right, the ark stands on a hill. At the bottom, a reference to the Bible text in Gen. 8:20 in Latin. This print is part of an album.
