About this work

Jupiter rides in his chariot through the sky, drawn by two peacocks. The signs of Sagittarius and Pisces indicate which people belong to the sphere of influence of Jupiter. People born under this zodiac sign are secular or ecclesiastical rulers. An emperor is crowned by the pope, who is surrounded by cardinals and bishops. On the left a judge on his throne. In the background hunting takes place. At the bottom in the margin a text in Latin about the children of Jupiter. This print is part of an album.
