About this work

The kings Joash, Amaziah and Azariah. In the background some important events from their lives. On the left in the background Joash's predecessor Queen Athaliah is put to death. In the middle of the background the murdered king Amaziah is brought to Jerusalem on horseback. On the right in the background King Azariah sits covered at a gate. He lived in seclusion because he suffered from leprosy. Below the image references to the Bible texts in Latin. This print is part of an album.
