About this work

King Cyrus asks Daniel to worship the dragon as a god. Daniel refuses and asks permission to kill the dragon without using weapons. He feeds the dragon cakes made of pitch, fat, and bones, which tear the dragon open from within. Below the image an explanatory text in Latin. Print is part of an album.
