Jonah Under the Gourd Tree

Jonah sits on a rock above the city of Nineveh and waits for God to destroy the city. God has caused a miracle plant to grow for him so that he can sit in the shade. But the next day the plant has withered, the leaves hang limp, and Jonah is overcome by the heat. He holds his cloak over his head against the burning sun. Jonah is angry at the plant and at the fact that God did not destroy the city. He speaks about it with God, who appears in the form of the tetragram on the clouds.
