About this work
The servant, whose debts have just been forgiven by the king, meets another servant who owes him a hundred denarii and demands payment. The man kneels and begs for time. But the unmerciful servant orders soldiers to take the man to prison. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Matthew 18:28. This print is part of an album.
