About this work
Christ meets ten men suffering from leprosy and orders them to show themselves to the priests. When they do, they are healed. Only one of the ten, a Samaritan, returns in the left background and kneels before Christ to thank him. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Luke 17:12.
