About this work
Christ meets ten men suffering from leprosy and gives them the order to show themselves to the priests. When they do so it turns out that they are healed. Only one of the ten, a Samaritan, returns on the left in the background and kneels before Christ to thank him. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Luke 17:12.
