About this work
Christ travels through the border region of Samaria and Galilee. In a village he meets ten lepers whom he heals. On the left in the background, it can be seen how only one of them, a Samaritan, kneels at Christ's feet to thank him. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Luke 17:12.
