About this work

The Prodigal Son returns home and falls into his father's arms. To the left the fattened calf is slaughtered, and in the left background a feast is being held to celebrate the return of the Prodigal Son. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Luke 15:20. This print is part of an album.
