Penny of the Widow

In the temple, Christ sits on the left in the foreground, pointing to a veiled poor widow among two of his disciples. Richly dressed people approach the offering chest to throw in large amounts of money. The widow has thrown in only two coins, but according to Christ, this is more than the rich give, because she gave out of her poverty.
