About this work

The centurion Cornelius kneels before the apostle Peter, but Peter urges him to stand up, as he is also merely a man. In the background, Peter preaches to Cornelius and the rest of his family. The Holy Spirit descends in the form of a dove. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Acts 10:25. This print is part of an album.
