About this work

Jewish exorcists try, following Paul, to drive out an evil spirit from a possessed man, but the man attacks them so that they flee naked and wounded. On the right, the cloths and work clothes of Paul are brought to the sick, so that they are healed and evil spirits leave them. In the background, new believers burn their magic books. Below the scene a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Acts 19:14. This print is part of an album.
