About this work
The ship of Paul suffers shipwreck off the coast of Malta on the journey to Rome (rear right). The inhabitants of Malta have lit a fire for the shipwrecked. Paul is bitten by a venomous snake but remains unharmed. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Acts 28:1. This print is part of an album.
