About this work
On the journey to Rome, Paul's ship is wrecked off the coast of Malta (rear right). The inhabitants of Malta have lit a fire for the shipwrecked. Paul is bitten by a poisonous snake but remains unharmed. Below the image a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Acts 28:1. This print is part of an album.
