About this work
In the center, the bronze serpent is attached to a pole. Moses points to the bronze serpent. Around the bronze serpent are men, women, and children who have been bitten by poisonous snakes and look up at the bronze serpent to stay alive. In the background is the tent camp of the Israelites. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Numbers 21:6. This print is part of an album.
