About this work
On the left in a niche stands the female personification of Love (Caritas). She holds a heart with a cross in her hand. A child is helped by another child to climb onto her breast and drink. In a niche on the right stands the female personification of Grace (Gratia). In one hand she holds a wine cup, in the other a Bible and an olive branch. The dove of the Holy Spirit flies above her head. This print is part of an album.
