King David, a famous general from the Old Testament, plays the harp in a landscape. He is part of The Nine Worthies. In the background his victory over Goliath. Below the image a verse in Latin. The image is framed by a border with scroll ornaments and various animals such as a cat stalking a mouse, monkeys and rabbits on which two boys are hunting. This print is part of an album.
