About this work

Christ at the sheepfold as the Good Shepherd. Christ standing in the door to the sheepfold with a lamb on his shoulders. Thieves try to break in through the side walls and roof to steal sheep. In the background, a shepherd drives a wolf away from his flock. With an inscription of two times two lines in Dutch and a reference to John 10. Satire on the Roman Catholic Church, c. 1560.
