About this work

Christ prays to God in the Garden of Olives. Three of his disciples sleep next to him. In the clouds an angel appears to comfort Christ (Matthew 26:37-45). In the background Judas points the soldiers to the place where Christ prays. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series on the Life of Christ.
