About this work
Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it, a medallion with on the front the portrait of Gregorio Barbarigo. He wears a biretta on his head. On the back, two castles in a nocturnal landscape. Above the pedestal, Fame or Good Report with a trumpet and olive branch, and around her neck a golden chain with a heart. Two women kneel. The censer of the woman on the left symbolizes prayers rising to heaven. They are the female personifications of Prayer and Devotion or Religious Zeal. The print is part of an album.
