About this work

Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it, a medallion with blank front and back. The pedestal is surrounded by three female personifications. On the left stands Science with two wings on her head, a mirror, and a globe with a triangle on it. In the center, Reformation: an old woman with a scourge in her left hand. With her right hand, she writes in an open book on a lectern. Next to a young tree stands Goodness with a wreath on her head and in her arms a nest with a pelican and its young. The print is part of an album.
