About this work

Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it a medallion with the portrait of Gregorio Barbarigo on the front. He wears a mitre on his head. On the back, Gregorio is installed as Grand Master of the Holy and Military Order of Saint Stephen by Cosimo III de' Medici. The pedestal is flanked by a man in a toga with the Medici coat of arms and an armored man with the coat of arms of the Order of Saint Stephen. The woman in the center wears an ermine cloak and a crown. She holds a helmet and scepter and holds a crown with the French lily next to the head of the Medici. The print is part of an album.
