Judas Maccabeus orders a number of law-abiding priests to purify the sanctuary and remove the stones that have desecrated the altar to an unclean place. The desecrated altar of burnt offerings is dismantled. Under the depiction a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in 1 Macc. 4. This print is part of an album.
