About this work

The wounded traveler lies on the ground. The Good Samaritan pours oil on his wound. In the front left and rear right the Levite and the priest, each with a book in hand, pass by. To the left in the background the inn where the Good Samaritan brings the wounded traveler and has him cared for. Below the image a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Luke 10. This print is part of an album.
