About this work
Joseph's brothers have returned to Egypt with their little brother Benjamin and kneel before Joseph. He invites them to a meal. In the back left the brothers are sitting opposite Joseph at the meal. In the far background the continuation of the story can be seen: in the sack of grain of Benjamin the silver cup of Joseph is found. Below the scene a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Gen. 43. This print is part of an album.
