About this work
A man with an offering table in his hands and dressed in court clothing with a butterfly emblem, stands next to a seated woman in a kimono with a crane motif. The clothing and makeup make it clear that these are actors in the roles of Soga no Gorô Tokimune and his mistress Maizuru. With three poems.
