About this work

Ceres with a sickle and ears of corn stands next to Mars, the god of war. Mars symbolizes the choleric, irascible temperament. At his feet lie weapons. Behind them, plundering and arsonist soldiers. To the left, Minerva. At the top, left, center, and right, signs of the zodiac: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, which correspond to the element of fire. Below a four-line Latin inscription.
