About this work

Melchizedek, the high priest and king of Salem (Jerusalem), gives bread to Abraham. A servant pours wine. Abraham, dressed in armor and with a helmet on his head, stands opposite Melchizedek, while his soldiers stand behind him. Below the representation, an explanatory text in Latin and an incorrect reference to a Biblical text in Gen. 18. Print is part of an album.
