About this work

Gideon receives from the Israelites the rings of the defeated Midianites, the jewelry of the Midianite kings, and the necklaces of their camels. They are spread out before him on a carpet. In the background, Gideon is seen killing Zebach and Zalmunna, the kings of Midian. Below the image is an inscription in Latin. The print is part of an album.
