About this work
Gideon receives from the Israelites the rings of the defeated Midianites, the jewelry of the Midianite kings and the necklaces of their camels. They are spread out before him on a cloth on a cloth. In the background it is visible how Gideon kills Zebach and Zalmunna, the kings of Midian. In the margin a one-line inscription in Latin.
