About this work

Esau has returned hungry from the hunt. His hunting dogs stand beside him. He sells his birthright to his younger brother Jacob for a bowl of lentils, which he already holds in his hands. Jacob and Rebekka sit at the table. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Genesis 25. The print is part of an album.
