About this work
In the background, Anna earns her living by spinning and weaving for her clients. Along with her wages, she receives a young goat as a reward to take home. Anna stands with the goat under her arm before her blind husband Tobit, who thinks she stole it. On the right in the background, Tobit prays to God. Below the image, a Latin reference to the biblical text in Tobit 2. This print is part of an album.
