About this work
In the background, Anna earns her money by spinning and weaving for her customers. Along with her wages, she is rewarded with a young goat to take home. Anna stands with the goat under her arm in front of her blind husband Tobit, who thinks she stole it. On the right in the background, Tobit prays to God. Below the image is a Latin reference to the Bible text in Tobit 2:13. This print is part of an album.
