About this work
After being thrown out of the window and falling dead, Jezebel's body is eaten by dogs in front of the city gates. Jehu, the new king of Israel, watches the scene with his soldiers. Below the image a reference to the Bible text in 1 Kings 21 in Latin. The print is part of an album.
