About this work

Two men report to King Nebuchadnezzar that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego do not want to bow down to the golden statue the king had erected. On the left, the golden statue and a crowd of people worshipping the statue. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego remain standing. In the background, a burning furnace into which everyone who refuses to worship the statue will be thrown. Below the scene, an explanatory text in Latin. Print is part of an album.
