About this work

Two men report to King Nebuchadnezzar that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refuse to bow to the golden statue erected by the king. To the left is the golden statue and a crowd worshipping it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stand firm. In the background, a burning furnace into which all who refuse to worship the statue will be thrown. Explanatory text in Latin below the image.
