About this work

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are thrown into the burning furnace. One of them is visible through a window in the furnace, assisted by an angel. The flames do not harm him. Two men are about to throw one of the three through the top opening of the furnace. Three guards standing on the furnace are burning in the flames. In the left foreground, one of the three Jewish men is being bound before being thrown into the furnace. Explanatory text in Latin below the image. This print is part of an album.
