About this work

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are thrown into the burning furnace. Through a window in the furnace, one of them can be seen. He is assisted by an angel. The flames do not harm him. Two men are about to throw one of the three through the top opening of the furnace. Three of the guards standing on the furnace burn in the flames. On the left in the foreground, one of the three Jewish men is being bound before he too is thrown into the furnace. Below the scene, an explanatory text in Latin. Print is part of an album.
