About this work

On the left in a landscape a city maiden sits on a throne. In front of her kneels a young man with a torch. She is attended by figures with the horn of plenty, a vase with flowers and a hunting trophy. Next to her lies a lion. Standing and sitting in front of her are Diana, Ceres, Mercury, Arithmetica and putti.
