About this work

Indigenous people of America, dressed in feather skirts, armed with bow and arrow and staff, are gathered along a riverbank. In the river, pelicans swim, catching fish and bringing them to the shore. Sunset or sunrise on the horizon. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series on hunting scenes.
