About this work
Two medallions with a double entendre rim inscription in German. On the left medallion, an archer lets a young woman feel the tip of an arrow. She makes a disapproving gesture. On the right medallion, a farmer with poultry sits with a young woman in a barn. The woman shows him a distaff.
