About this work
In the foreground an angel with in his right hand a soldier's glove, with his left hand pointing to coins lying on the ground (reference to the betrayal of Judas). On the left lances and halberds against the wall of a gate, above which the rooster (with which Peter's denial was confirmed). In the background Peter denying before the servants that he knows Christ. Behind him the captured Christ.
