About this work
In the foreground an angel holding in his right hand the sword with which Peter cut off Malchus's ear (the ear is on the sword). In his left hand a spear with a fire pot. On the ground various weapons. In the background the scene in Gethsemane: the Kiss of Judas. Peter kisses Christ, thereby betraying him to the soldiers.
