Village fair

Village fair in honor of Saint George. In the foreground three couples dancing to the music of a bagpiper, who sits in the left corner on top of the roof of a pigsty. Behind the dancers a couple is making love. To the left at an inn people are eating and drinking. From one of the windows of the inn hangs the banner of the Saint George guild of archers. In the background a tower of people is being built and various people are selling their wares. To the right in the foreground someone is vomiting. To the right in the background various fair attractions around a procession. The procession includes among others the horse of the four children of Aymon, a giant and the veneration of a saint. Around the procession various games: sword fighting, the stabbing game, archery and jeu de boules.
