About this work

Landscape with Jupiter and his attribute, the eagle. Jupiter wears a crown and hurls a thunderbolt. The frame contains a Latin border inscription referring to the role Jupiter played in the Judgment of Paris. He refuses to pronounce judgment on the goddesses and believes Paris must render a verdict. This print is part of an album.
