About this work
The sacrament of the anointing of the sick or the last sacrament. In the center a depiction of a man on his sickbed being anointed by a priest. In the background the apostles anointing the sick with oil and healing them. Around the central image depictions of four councils on which decisions were made regarding the administration of the anointing of the sick.
