About this work
Woman in a velvet dress adorned with toucan feathers. Short puffed sleeves with sheer sheep's leg sleeves over them. On her head a crêpe hat trimmed with satin and feathers from the shops of Larochelle. Figure in the same dress, seen from the back, seated on a tabouret. Print from the fashion magazine Petit Courrier des Dames (1821-1868). Bound (with some pages from Le Journal des Dames et des Modes). 15 January 1827 to 20 March 1830. Incomplete.
