About this work
Redingote of 'gros de Naples' trimmed with satin. Cap of 'crêpe lisse' with scalloped edge edged with black satin ribbon. The woman holds a jewel box(?). Seated figure, seen from the back, in a matching redingote. Print from the fashion magazine Petit Courrier des Dames (1821-1868). Bound (with some pages from Le Journal des Dames et des Modes). 15 January 1827 to 20 March 1830. Incomplete.
