About this work
Standing woman dressed in a satin dress trimmed with a satin 'bouffant' and a blonde (bobbin lace) flounce. On her head a turban of crêpe and satin trimmed with aigrettes and bracelets, from the shops of Mure. Figure in the same dress, seen from the back, seated on a tabouret. Print from the fashion magazine Petit Courrier des Dames (1821-1868). Bound (with some pages from Le Journal des Dames et des Modes). 15 January 1827 to 20 March 1830. Incomplete.
